This role bridges hardware, firmware, and software, and will shape how we stream real-time sensor data, integrate AI, and deliver intuitive, robust applications. /ppStrong hands-on experience with modern C++ is essential, as much of our core platform is built in C++ with critical performance and system-level requirements. /ppThis is not a management role — you will lead by technical example, working shoulder-to-shoulder with other engineers. /ppstrongKey challenges: /strong /pullipDefine and evolve the architecture for complex, multi-platform systems (desktop, mobile, embedded, cloud). /p /li /ulullipDesign and implement real-time data streaming from sensors to cloud/desktop/mobile endpoints. /p /lilipApply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Clean Architecture principles to build robust, maintainable systems. /p /lilipContribute directly to codebases, building core modules, prototypes, and proofs-of-concept. /p /lilipLead efforts to modernize and refactor legacy systems with minimal disruption. /p /lilipWork closely with hardware and firmware teams to ensure seamless system integration. /p /lilipIntroduce and evaluate new technologies, including AI, edge computing, and scalable cloud services. /p /lilipMentor teams in system design, software quality, and platform thinking. /p /lilipChampion best practices in CI/CD, testing, DevOps, and code quality. /p /li /ulbrpMovella is looking for a strong system-level thinker. Someone who thrives at the intersection of hardware, firmware, and software. You have: /pullip8+ years of software architecture and development experience, with a focus on real-time, multi-platform systems. /p /lilipExtensive hands-on experience with modern C++ (C++ 17/20), including multithreading, performance tuning, and low-level systems development. /p /lilipStrong grasp of modern software engineering practices and patterns, including DDD and Clean Architecture. /p /lilipProven experience with real-time data streaming and interfacing with sensors or embedded systems. /p /lilipSolid experience with multi-platform development (Windows, Linux, iOS, Android). /p /lilipComfortable designing or collaborating closely with embedded systems, firmware, and hardware interfaces. /p /lilipFamiliarity with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices architecture. /p /lilipExcellent communication and collaboration skills across disciplines. /p /lilipDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent experience. /p /li /ulpstrongNice to have /strong /pullipExperience in motion capture, robotics, sensor fusion, or IoT products. /p /lilipExperience with AI/ML integration in embedded or real-time systems. /p /lilipExperience with Agile, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps workflows. /p /li /ulpNot sure if you tick every box?
