Overview
As Engineering Lead Mechanical, you will steer a team of mechanical engineers to deliver technically complex projects within a global, energy-transition focused environment. You will champion engineering standards, guide multidisciplinary designs, and ensure timely, quality outcomes across the project lifecycle. This role combines hands-on leadership with technical excellence to drive impact on large-scale offshore and onshore installations. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to optimize resources and methods, contributing to innovative solutions like the Monopile Gripper.

- Lead a team of engineers in day-to-day operations aligned with project goals
- Manage performance and allocate resources to tasks and priorities
- Ensure deliverables and designs meet project requirements and standards
- Contribute to development and improvement of engineering methods and technologies
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to the project plan
- Oversee project quality and report progress in line with requirements

Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering
- 5-7 years of experience in mechanical engineering with proven track record
- Experience leading and guiding a team to top performance
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Excellent technical knowledge in design and structural aspects
- Ability to provide clear direction and mentoring to the team
- EU passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
