The Opportunity
As an Account Manager within our Trauma division, you will be responsible for promoting and selling a portfolio of innovative surgical products used in both elective and acute trauma procedures.
Trauma:
This position is specifically designed for individuals at an early stage in their commercial career. During your initial months, the focus will be onbuilding a strong foundation, including:
Developingin-depthproduct knowledge
Gaining a clear understanding ofinternal processes and the healthcare landscape
Establishingcredible, trust-based relationshipswith key stakeholders
KeyResponsibilities
Promote and sell Stryker’s Trauma portfolio, including plates, screws, and nails
Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, theatre staff, and hospital stakeholders
Providein-theatre supportand product guidance (approximately 40% of the role)
Deliver product demonstrations and training sessions
Manage your territory through structured planning and targeted customer engagement
Support customer needs by acting as areliable and knowledgeable partner
Ensure compliance with all internal policies and external regulations
Training & Development
We offer a highly structured onboardingprogramdesigned to support your transition into medical sales:
First3–6 months dedicated to training and onboarding
Abuddy systemwith experienced colleagues
Combination ofclassroom-based and practical learning
A formaleducation pathway (including 101 and 201 courses)
Thisprogramis particularly suited to candidates transitioning from other industries.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for individuals who demonstrate strong potential and motivation to succeed in a commercial healthcare environment.
Minimum2 years of professional experience(commercial or customer-facing roles preferred)
Stronginterpersonalandcommunicationskills
A genuine interest in healthcare and the medical devices industry
Ability to buildlong-term relationships based on trust and credibility
High levels ofdrive, resilience, and willingness to learn
Flexibility to travel extensively within the territory (approx.80%)
FluencyinDutchandEnglish
